B Sharp's Jazz Cafe
Located in the Historic 1921 Building built by African American women, The Women's Working Band as an Old Folks Home, and donated in 1948 to the Black WWII Vets in Tallahassee, Fl., Sneed Franklin African American Legion Post, B Sharp's Jazz Cafe boasts a wonderful intimate space and acoustics.
Opened in January 2008, already performed: the Wallace Roney Quintet, Shirl Wright, Judy Bady, Rodney Jordan, Leon Anderson and of course Clarence Seay.
The club has regular Jam sessions on Wednesdays and two sets on Saturdays. As a new club, situated between Florida A&M University and Florida State University, we have welcomed many, many jazz students as well as their professors. We bring in as many professional musicians as possible.
